The main thing is that the groups should contain different ages, because it has great influence on the cultural development of the child. This is obtained by the relations of the children among themselves. You cannot imagine how well a young child learns from an older child; how patient the older child is with the difficulties of the younger.

Kalpavriksh Montessori hopes to be that wish-granting tree, capable of nurturing every child who becomes part of it. KMCS is a community school, owned and managed by the teachers, parents, along with other concerned individuals.
Contrary to popular belief, age does not dictate social or academic developmental level, and it’s in fact more beneficial for children to be exposed to mixed age groups throughout their social, intellectual, and emotional development.
The system also educates parents and caregivers and helps build ideal conditions for the child’s home and external environment.
MONTESSORI COMMUNITY INITIATIVE is an attempt by a collective of parents and teachers to create learning spaces appropriate for the needs of the growing child.
